2. Once you have received your frame and made your decision, mail them all back to SafeVision for a FULL REFUND.

3. Go back to the SafeVision website. Locate your frame, click the Green “Buy Frame + Lenses” tab, enter your prescription information and make your purchase.

For Frame with Non-Rx Lenses

1. Pick out and purchase the frames you want to try on at home.

2. Once you have received your frame and made your decision, mail them all back to SafeVision for a FULL REFUND.

3. Go back to the SafeVision website. Locate your frame, click the Orange “Buy Frame Only or with Plain Lenses” tab, slelect your lens options and make your purchase.

For Frame Only

1. Pick out and purchase the frames you want to try on at home.

2. Once you make your decision, mail the frames you do not want back to SafeVision.

3. Once we receive your frames we will issue a FULL REFUND to your credit card.

Transitions: Photochromatic Lenses

Transitions is the biggest brand name in Photochromatic lenses, meaning the lenses change from clear to dark when exposed to the Ultra Violet rays of the sun. The lenses are virtually clear when you are inside, or at night, or on a cloudy day. When you are outside on a bright sunny day, the lenses will darken to a medium sunglass shade of either grey (most popular) or brown. When it is partly sunny, the lenses will darken somewhat, depending on the strength of the UV rays present.

Polarized Gray and Brown

Polarized Grey & Brown - A polarized lens is regarded as the best sunglass lens you can buy. Most popular colors are grey and brown. Polarized lenses block glare from various surfaces including the sun, snow, sand, water, cars, and other surfaces that reflect the suns light.

In more technical terms, the polarization actually cuts out the light coming from the horizontal meridian while allowing in the light coming in from the vertical meridian. In other words, it blocks the light that reflects in from water, snow etc, reducing glare.

All of our lenses are polycarbonate or include UV & scratch protection.
NOTE: Polycarbonate Polarized Coppertone lenses make the best sunglasses.

Anti Reflective Coating
Anti Reflective (or Anti Glare) is a 9-layer multi treated process. AR treated lenses eliminating glare, improving light transmission and reducing smudges & scratches.

Anti Glare coating can make lenses seem invisible, eliminates reflections that obscure the eyes. AR stops reflections on front and back surfaces causing annoying distractions that make it more difficult to see and add to eyestrain. Driving comfort and computer use are enhanced by reducing glare occurring in these activities. AR reduces glare and increases light transmission to 99%. This improves general vision especially for high index lenses and transitions that transmit less light.

AR Coating has many benefits: Eliminates glare, improves visual acuity & perception, aids computer use, reduces eye-strain & fatigue, aids night driving, makes your lenses virtually invisible & more. Noticabel differences in any glare situation: Sun, Water, Sand, Snow, overhead lighting.

Consistent, superior scratch protection for both sides of your lenses

For those wishing to protect their lenses with the best anti-scratch lens treatment, SafeVision® offers Ultimate Anti-Scratch Coating (UASC).

UASC treated lenses offer consistent, superior protection on both sides of your lenses. UASC integrates glass-like silica particles into its polymer matrix. They impart a hardness, durability and scratch-resistance superior to other scratch-resistant technologies. The polymer matrix is designed to expand and contract with the lens, reducing the opportunity for the lens to crack. The end result of this technology is a tough, yet flexible lens.

UASC bonding process

UASC's unique polymerization process creates the most durable bond possible on both sides of the lens. This ensures a perfect bond to the lens without any contaminants.

SafeVision® offers an optional 1-Year lens discount protection policy with the purchase of UASC.

When you purchase UASC treatment, you have the option to purchase one (1) new set of lenses from SafeVision® at half the price paid on your original order, within 12 months of your original order processing date. Your UASC claim form (see below) and glasses must be received within 12 months of your original order processing date.

We believe a warranty claim will not be necessary if your UASC treated lenses are properly cared for, and you will enjoy your UASC treated lenses for a long time without scratches. However, should you opt a UASC Warranty claim, the following terms apply:

Terms of the UASC Warranty Claim:

  • UASC treatment must be purchased at time of ordering new lenses from SafeVision® on the SafeVision order form.
  • UASC Warranty claim lenses will be made with the exact same lens type, prescription & coatings as the originally purchased lenses. Both lenses, left and right, will be remade as part of the UASC Warranty claim.
  • UASC Warranty claim lenses will not be returned to customer.
  • UASC treatment allows for the purchase of one new set of lenses at half the price paid for the original lens purchase, within 12 months of your original order processing date.
  • To make a UASC claim, customer must contact SafeVision® within 12 months of original order processing date to verify UASC warranty status, determine cost of UASC warranty claim, and obtain a UASC Return Authorization number. Customer must mail glasses to SafeVision at customer's expense and enclose the UASC Warranty Claim Form. Payment of UASC warranty lenses must accompany the claim form.
  • SafeVision® will prepare new lenses in your frame and mail back to customer with no shipping cost to the Continental 48 United States. Shipments outside the Continental 48 United States will be charged for shipping.

Permanent Anti-fog Treatment for Prescription Lenses
SafeVision, LLC's® Premium Anti Fog (PAF) Treatment bonds to your lenses and becomes an effective, anti-fog scratch coat, and with proper care will give you tough & long lasting anti-fog performance.

PAF is a treatment available on new lenses made by SafeVision. PAF can not be added to existing lenses. PAF is applied in a multi layer process similar to other premium SafeVision® coatings, including Anti Glare & TD2 Scratch Coating.

PAF is needed for our Industrial Safety Eyewear Customers, and others with active hobbies including Hunting, Fishing, Skiing and anyone who needs clear lenses in varying temperature conditions.


Other PAF Information:
  • Lens Types: PAF can be applied to any lens (Clear, Polarized, Transitions/Photochromatic)
  • Lens Materials: PAF can be applied to all lens materials (Polycarbonate, Plastic, Hi Index).
  • Durability: PAF bonds to your lenses scratch coating, it can't be "washed" or "wiped" off.
  • Compatibility: PAF can not be coated on lenses with Anti Glare or TD2 scratch coatings.
  • Treatment: PAF lenses require an additional 3 days processing - well worth the extra wait.

 DEFOG-It has been rigorously tested on the most popular brands of lenses and coatings, including Transitions and Anti-Glare coatings, and compared to the most popular brands of anti-fog.
