SafeVision prescription safety lenses are available in Polycarbonate, CR-39 Plastic, and Glass materials. When manufactured to the lab guidelines established by ANSI Z87, all three materials are approved for use in safety prescription eyewear.

SafeVision®, LLC strongly recommends the use of Polycarbonate lenses for safety eyewear whenever possible. Polycarbonate is the most impact resistant lens material available today. When compared to Glass or CR-39 Plastic, Polycarbonate offers significantly greater protection and safety for your eyes.

Lenses are available with a wide array of optional coatings/features:

  • Single Vision, Lined Bifocal, Lined Trifocal, Occupational (Double Seg), and No Line Progressive Lenses
  • Tints in a variety of colors and shades, some for cosmetic purpose and others designed to offer additional protection against workplace glare, ultraviolet and infrared radiation
  • Anti Glare Coating
  • Transitions, Polarized, and Photochromatic lenses
