Prescription Safety Glasses (ANSI Z87.1-2003)

Do any of these scenarios describe your situation?
  • Your prescription safety lenses are scratched or damaged beyond repair and you need new safety lenses and/or a new safety frame.
  • Your prescription has changed and you need new lenses in order to see at work.
  • You are a safety manager and need a reliable, inexpensive way for your people to get new prescription safety lenses.
  • You have a safety program in place, but are tired of overpaying for lenses that take too long to make and are an administrative hassle.

What is the answer to these and other problems?
Order replacement prescription safety lenses
from SafeVision® and save time and money!

Just mail us your old prescription safety glasses (frame and lenses) and we'll replace the old safety lenses with new safety lenses!  With SafeVision®® you don't have to pay retail for prescription safety glasses ever again!

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

SEND US YOUR OLD SAFETY GLASSES (FRAME AND LENSES) AND YOUR RX.
Wrap your current prescription safety glasses in a small eyeglass-size box that is available at your local Post Office or Mailboxes Etc.®  Use bubble wrap to protect them during shipping.  Note: Please be sure you are sending us an OSHA approved safety frame.  Safety frames will have the Z.87 monogram etched on either temple of the frame.

Also enclose a copy of your most recent eye exam, on your Doctor's letterhead.  Just have your Doctor mail or fax your prescription and put it in the box to us.  For your proper eye health, we will only make new lenses within 2 years of your most recent exam.  It is our policy to see the Doctor's Rx before making any new lenses.  This extra precaution is for everyone's protection, and sets us apart from our competitors who will make new lenses without seeing your Doctor's handwritten prescription with his/her special notes for your health.

WE WILL READ YOUR Rx AND INSERT NEW SAFETY LENSES IN YOUR FRAME
When we receive your safety glasses and prescription, we will be able to make new safety lenses and put them in your existing frame.  You must send us your own current frame (lenses included) as we can only obtain your optical measurements from your own personal frame. (pupilary distance and/or bifocal height).

WE'LL MAIL YOUR FRAME WITH NEW LENSES BACK TO YOU IN ABOUT A WEEK!

Legal stuff our Attorney says we have to tell you:
1. We are not responsible for eyeglasses lost or damaged during shipping.
2. We provide safety lenses made of plastic, polycarbonate.  We recommend polycarbonate whenever possible.  It is the strongest and lightest material available today.
3. It takes approximately 7 days to manufacture your eyeglass lenses from the time we receive your package.
4. We are not responsible for safety frames that may break during processing.  If your frame breaks during the manufacturing process, we will notify you and ask if you wish us to replace your safety frame with a new one, at a discounted price.
5. We only insert safety lenses into a Z.87 monogrammed safety frame. If you send us a non safety frame we will notify you and ask if you desire non safety prescription lenses inserted.  You can determine if a frame is a safety frame by the Z.87 monogram located somewhere on one of the frame temples.
